You can easily create your own custom commands to include code from library files stored on disk. First create a library file using a specific name, then use this name within your program to include your library file code.
Camillo editor enables you to edit application software files directly from code elements within your programs, such as text document files, images, sound files and style sheets. It is also possible to edit specific library files using Active text.
The multi document interface allows you to keep multiple files open at the same time using the editor's horizontal tabs interface, this allows the user to work on several documents at the same time.
Code generator dialogs
The editor has a number of useful dialogs (dialog boxes) available allowing you to include HTML code within your programs, such as displaying Images, including Hypertext links, Image gallery and using Forms within your pages. For more information please see the Camillo editor help file.
It is possible to modify syntax highlighting and system colors such as background, gutter and line numbers. The editor also comes with it's own collection of ready to use system color themes.
Using the preferences dialog will give you more control over the way Camillo editor performs. This dialog allows you to customize various aspects of the editor such as Display toolbar tips, Verify delete files and Backup files when saving programs.
The built-in Library manager can be use for editing and managing all your library code files, features include Open files, Save files and Print code. You can also use the library manager to edit plain ASCII text files.
The web page editor allows you to view your pages using multiple browsers, including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Netscape Navigator with the use of the Create Web page dialog.
The find dialog allows the user to search for a particular word or phrase within there source code. It is also possible to select the Match case checkbox if you want your search to be case-sensitive.
Searching the Internet
You can search for information on the Internet from within the editor using the Google or Wikipedia Search commands by selecting these options from the Help menu. It is also possible to highlight text within your source code and make a search using Google or Wikipedia
To print text from within the program editor at any time simply select Print from the File menu. If you only want to print selected text from within the editor - first highlight your desired text and select Print Selection from the File menu.
Automatically create a backup copy of your program when saving files to disk. If you find you have accidentally deleted a program simply click on File from the editors menu and select Restore backup. Then select a file from the list displayed within the Restore backup dialog.
Publish your webpage
The process of transferring your web pages from your computer to a web server is made easy with the use of the Publish dialog. Simply enter the information (provided by your web hosting service) into the required input fields and click on the Ok button to upload the current page being edited.
You can insert special characters and accented letters into your HTML code, such as the copyright symbol or a pound sign at any time with the use of the Special Characters dialog. This dialog can be activated from the editor's Include menu.
